Dublin, OH., United States (4E) - Golf superstar Tiger Woods blasted his former coach Hank Haney Friday, saying Haney deserved to be suspended from his SiriusXM radio show after commenting he couldn't name more than a half-dozen female golfers.

Haney also predicted a Korean named "Lee" would win the U.S. Women's Open, continuing that without adding a first name "I'd get a bunch of them right.''.

Haney later apologized on air and on twitter, but the company opted to ban him, saying it would review the status of his show over time.

Woods backed the ban, however, despite Haney helping him win six major championships and 31 PGA tour titles from 2004 to 2010.

"He deserved it,'' Woods said Friday at the Memorial when asked about Haney's radio ban. "Just can't look at life like that. And he obviously said what he meant, and he got what he deserved.''
