Scottsdale, AZ, United States (4E) - Buffalo Bills rookie Tyrel Dodson was arrested for domestic violence at a nightclub in Arizona on Sunday 26th, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.
The NFL linebacker was arraigned on three misdemeanor charges that include disorderly conduct, domestic violence and damage to property of less than $2,000.
Reacting to this situation, the Bills said in a statement "We are aware of the incident involving Tyrel Dodson last weekend. We have been looking further into the matter and will continue to gather information as the legal process continues."
The police report points out that the rookie was arrested at the nightclub after his girlfriend called the police to claim that he had gotten violent with her during a discussion.
When the Scottsdale police went to the alleged victim's house, she told an officer that the altercation started because Dodson vomited on the carpet inside her bedroom.
According to the police report, the NFL player apologized and told her that he was under the influence of alcohol.
His girlfriend then asked him to leave her alone so she could get ready to go to work. However, the report pointed out that Dodson "approached and grabbed her forcefully by the front of her towel and shoved her against the wall telling her to stop talking to him like that."
The report finally states that the alleged victim slapped the linebacker, who apparently slapped her back.
