Baseball Hall of Famer and one-time home run king Atlanta Braves legend Henry Louis “Hank” Aaron passed away Friday at the age of 86.

Hank had a total of 25 All-Star Games, became World Champion, a Hall of Famer, struck 755 home runs, and had 3,771 hits.

Aaron was born on February 5, 1934, in Mobile, Alabama and started professional baseball at age 18.

At 20, he had his Major League Debut with the then-Milwaukee Braves and became rookie of the year before 1953 when he signed for the Jacksonville Braves.

On August 1, 1982, Aaron was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in New York while an award was named after him in 1999.

Aaron was the only person in his generation that beat Babe Ruth’s home run record of 714 with 755 and was only topped by Barry Bonds in 2007.
