Jay Z and his entertainment company, Roc Nation, are teaming up with the NFL to launch a music and social just campaign.
As part of its long-term partnership with the NFL, Roc Nation advise the NFL on a selection of artists that will be feature for the company’s events, including the Super Bowl, and with the rap mogul taking on the role of “live music entertainment strategist.”
The entertainment company will also play a key role in producing and promoting new music for NFL.
Other activities for which Roc Nation will provide its assistance in terms of music creation and distribution will include the Pro Bowl community concert, artists podcasts, original music, and a live visual album.
Their partnership will also help launch the league’s Inspire Change activism campaign. The program, which is spearheaded by the league and its players, will focus on education and economic enhancement, as well as improving the relationship of the police with the communities they serve and promoting criminal justice reform.
"The NFL and Roc Nation share a vision of inspiring meaningful social change across our country.” NFL commissioner Roger Goddell said in a statement, ESPN reported. “We are thrilled to partner with Roc Nation and look forward to making a difference in our communities together."

"Roc Nation has shown that entertainment and enacting change are not mutually exclusive ideas -- instead, we unify them. This partnership is an opportunity to strengthen the fabric of communities across America."
