Oakland, CA., United States (4E) - The Toronto Raptors topped the Golden State Warriors 114-110 in the sixth game of the finals Thursday to win the first NBA title in franchise history.
The Warriors scored just two field goals in the final 4:55 of play, getting denied a third straight championship and fourth in the last five years.
Kawhi Leonard scored 22 points in game six and won series MVP honors, while Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with 26 points each.
Klay Thompson paced the Warriors with 30 points in just 32 minutes but had to leave the game in the second half due to an injury for already hobbled Golden State.
Steph Curry added 21 points for the Warriors but hit just 6 of 17 field goals for a team that also missed nine of 30 free throws.
